Marco Silva wants Everton to keep Idrissa Gueye but the manager accepts the midfielder has his price.

The Toffees have rejected a bid worth a reported £21million for Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain, but the Ligue 1 side are expected to return with another offer.

Silva says he has no intention of selling but the Everton boss accepts the matter might be taken out of his hands.

“My opinion is the same as the club’s, and we rejected the offer,” he said. “He is a really important player for us.

“He is one player we do not think to lose in this market. Of course after some moments it can become a matter of money, but from my point of view he is a really important player for us.”
