Christian Eriksen will move to Real Madrid after the Spanish club tied up a deal for the Tottenham midfielder, according to reports in Spain.

Real Madrid have remained firm favourites to sign Eriksen, either in a cut-price deal in January or on a free next summer, despite reported interest from Manchester United, PSG and Juventus in the Dane.

Inter Milan were the latest club linked with a move for the 27-year-old with a report from FCInterNews claiming on Tuesday that the midfielder’s agent has been in contact with the Serie A side recently to sound out a summer transfer.

However, El Desmarque (via Sport Witness) on Friday claim that Real Madrid have ‘everything completely closed’ for Eriksen with a deal for the Denmark international tied up.

There is a possibility that Real could consider making a €30million offer to bring him over to Spain in January – but the report says that he is set to become the LaLiga side’s first signing next summer.

The deal will be ‘announced in a few weeks’ after Eriksen agreed his role in the side and his wages after negotiations for ‘several months’.

El Desmarque add that it ‘seems clear’ Eriksen will end up at Real Madrid in a ‘dream’ move with a free transfer looking like the most likely outcome.
