Chandrayaan-II, India’s second moon mission has hit an unexpected roadblock which could result in further delay in the launch.

According to reports, scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) are now hoping for a launch of the mission anywhere between May and July.

ISRO had originally planned for a lunar mission in January- February. However, it was later rescheduled to March-April window.

But damage suffered to the lander during preliminary tests have further pushed the Chandrayaan-II by a couple of months.

The lander ‘Vikram’ named after legendary Indian space scientist and former ISRO chief Vikram Sarabhai reportedly suffered structural damages during a drop test.Click Here: liverpool mens jersey
