Gomez first stepped back onto the scene at the AMAs on Nov. 20, where she accepted the award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist with an emotional, and touching speech. The “Hands to Myself” singer recently spent some time away to work on her mental and emotional wellbeing, and wanted to thank her fans for supporting her, no matter what. “You guys are so damn loyal and I don’t know what I did to deserve you,” she said, adding a heartfelt note on taking care of yourself: “But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. That’s one thing you should know about me: I care about people. And this is for you.”
