Silverstone’s high speed layout makes it one of the fastest tracks on the Grand Prix calendar, a fact supported by yesterday’s speed trap readings in qualifying.

Felipe Massa topped the maximum speed read-out in the Williams with a 325.2 km/h, and a relatively comfortable 3 km/h advantage over Valtteri Bottas’ Mercedes.

The usual suspects were found at the other end of the spectrum with Sauber’s pair of drivers closing out the list, a whopping 25km/h behind the fastest car!
