T Magazine, the cutting edge publication of the New York Times is going online. The award winning magazine of the American newspaper  is following the footsteps of fashion brands buying more into online advertisement spaces.

The magazine is published 15 times a year and Suzy Menkes, Lynne Hirschberg and Paolo Roversi are among its regular writers. Previously, T Magazine was presented as part of the New York Times website without it’s own identity. For the first time the paper attracted an independent design agency called CreateThe, to design the online magazine’s layout.

Similar to the magazine’s set up, all features will be accessible on Tmagazine.com. Via a dropdown menu readers can navigate through all the articles online. Not only the New York Times launched their online sister, American glossy W magazine owned by Conde Nast is going online too.

From December 2007 the International Herald Tribune also distributed the magazine, making Tmagazine available for the European and Middle Eastern market.
