A 40-year-old municipal corporation worker in Bengaluru committed suicide after he was not paid his salary for the past six months, the family has alleged. The deceased was identified as Subramani, who worked as a sanitation worker at Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for the past 15 years.
The victim’s kin has blamed BBMP’s Health Inspector and Assistant Executive Engineer, Solid Waste Management, over the non-payment of his dues from past six months.
