Leicester City have enquired about Manchester United defender Luke Shaw as they face the prospect of losing Ben Chilwell, according to reports.
The Foxes are flying high in the Premier League table this season, occupying third place behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
Their defeat at home to Southampton on Saturday was only their fifth of the season with a lot of Leicester‘s players in demand.
The likes of James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira have been heavily linked with moves away, while Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer £60m for the services of Ben Chilwell.
The Daily Mirror (via the Metro) claim that Leicester have made initial contact with United over a possible move for Shaw, who they are looking at in case Chilwell departs.
Shaw has struggled to feature for the Red Devils this season, starting eight Premier League matches, with Brandon Williams filling in for the left-back in recent weeks.
The prospect of a big-money offer could tempt United into selling the defender but they would reportedly want more than the £30m they paid Southampton for Shaw back in 2014.
