Manchester United have agreed a deal to buy Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli in the summer, according to reports.

Reports emerged on Tuesday that the Red Devils had struck a €70m deal to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, with other reports expecting the deal to be concluded this week.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola claimed that there has been an ‘agreement for €60m + €10m and the yield of players’ with United offering a choice of four players to take on loan.

And now Italian journalist Fabio Santini has broken some more transfer news to Man Utd supporters by claiming that a deal had been agreed with Napoli for the transfer of Koulibaly in the summer.

Santini told TV show Il Processo (via the Daily Mirror): “Napoli will sell Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester United for a figure of around 70-75m euros. It seems all done.

“Naturally, such a deal will be closed only in June and certainly not in January in the winter transfer window.”

Despite saying he was happy to stay at the club in the past, Koulibaly could be sold with Napoli reportedly facing financial trouble.
