Jean-Claude Juncker is in Germany for talks with Sigmar Gabriel.
After Emmanuel Macron’s victory in the French presidential election, the press pack was clearly too exhausted to ask any questions.
With European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker having already congratulated Macron on Sunday night, all that was left for deputy spokesman Alexander Winterstein to do was give details of Juncker’s agenda.

Today, the Commission president is in Germany to meet with Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.
As Tuesday is Europe Day, the Commission is taking a day off. But European commissioners are back to work on Wednesday for their weekly meeting at which they will review progress on the digital single market, discuss “harnessing globalization” and examine the state of play on the Greek bailout.
