John Cena appeared on Australian radio on Tuesday and confirmed rumors that WWE will be running the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia in October.
Cena announced that the company would be running the venue, which is listed at seating 100,024 fans, on October 6th.
The longtime WWE Superstar didn’t specify whether or not he would be at the show, but said he hopes he would be.
As noted, The Melbourne Herald Sun ran a story recently claiming WWE will be announcing their plans to run the venue at WrestleMania 34, even going as far as to say Cena, The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio would be at the show.
