In-Ring Segment: Stephanie McMahon, Bella Twins, AJ Lee & Paige

When we return from commercial, Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring, looking absolutely delicious, by the way. She addresses Nikki Bella’s “Growing Up Bella” segments that have been airing throughout the show. She asks Nikki to come to the ring.

Nikki comes to the ring and Stephanie tells her she looks beautiful. Nikki says it’s good to have someone on her side. Stephanie tells her that she’s proud of her. She talks about how selfish Brie is and says Nikki is the face of the Diva’s division that she’s looking for. She tells her that she’s giving her a shot at the Divas title and then the two hug.

The Bella Twins music hits again and Stephanie orders it to be cut off. She says from now on, that music is reserved for Nikki. Brie enters the ring and asks Nikki if this is what it’s all been about, a Divas title match. She asks if that’s why she’s been telling lies about her all night long.

As Nikki talks trash about Brie and talks about how she’s going to be the next Divas Champion, AJ Lee’s music hits and she comes out skipping around as usual. Before she can say a word, the “CM Punk” chants break out.

AJ says Stephanie may have forgotten how things work, but she’s deserving of a title match because she never had her rematch yet. She tells her to let the Bella Twins work out their little issues among themselves. As Stephanie goes to address AJ, Paige’s theme music hits and out she comes.

Paige comes skipping down to the ring with the WWE Divas Championship. As Paige goes to talk, Nikki interupts her. Nikki talks to Brie again and says she’ll forgive her if she sacrifices for her as much as she’s sacrificed for her all of these years.

Nikki asks Brie to quit. She yells at Brie to quit like she always does. Brie pauses and thinks about it, but instead turns around and pushes Nikki hard. Nikki crashes into Paige and they both fall down. Brie leaves. AJ grabs the Divas title and skips around the ring as Stephanie watches. Steph blocks AJ from skipping any further and AJ’s music stops. Steph orders AJ to give her the Divas title. AJ smiles and gives it to her and then leaves. That segment was god awful, by the way. After this segment ends, we head to another commercial.

When we return from commercial, Bray Wyatt is shown backstage. Bray talks about his cage match on next week’s RAW, which is against Chris Jericho. His promo is kept pretty short and his one word of advice for Jericho is simply, “run.”

Jimmy Uso (with Jey Uso) vs. Goldust (with Stardust)

We head to the ring now and The Usos make their entrance. Michael Cole points out that Jimmy Uso’s leg is wrapped up after the attack he suffered at the hands of Goldust and Stardust last week.

Goldust and Stardust come to the ring. Goldust gets on the mic but before he can say much of anything, Uso attacks him.

The bell rings and here we go with one-on-one action between Goldust and Jimmy Uso. Uso dominates for the most part early on until the action spilled out to the floor.

Out on the floor, Stardust helps with some sneak attacks and then sends Uso back in the ring. Goldust hits him with his Final Cut finisher and pins him, 1-2-3. It actually might’ve been Jey Uso wrestling this match with Goldust, it was not made totally clear on commentary as a lot was going on.

Winner: Goldust

After The Match:

After the victory, Goldust and Stardust weren’t satisfied. The Dust Brothers attacked The Usos and smashed the injured knee of Jey Uso into the ring post in a violent fashion. Ringside medics and trainers come to his aid. We see replays of Stardust smashing a chair on Jey’s leg, which was set up against the ring post. After the attack, we head to commercial.

Backstage: Mark Henry & Big Show

We return from commercial and the first thing we see is Mark Henry and Big Show backstage talking about Rusev. Henry talks about the Rusev stuff but Big Show is more concerned about how they could be the most dominant tag-team in history. Big Show finally says okay, and tells him he’ll be in his corner. Henry says he appreciates that but he needs to do that by himself and for his country.

John Cena, Roman Reigns & Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins, Randy Orton & Kane

We see highlights of the opening Highlight Reel segment and then Triple H and Stephanie McMahon join Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and JBL at ringside for commentary. They are out to sit at the announce table for tonight’s main event.

John Cena makes his way out first. In the middle of Cena’s entrance, Michael Cole takes us to a commercial break.

We return from commercial to see Roman Reigns coming through the crowd, making his way to the ring. After him, Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring, wrapping up the entrances for the babyface side of tonight’s main event.

After the babyfaces finish up their walks to the ring, when Jericho’s music stops, Seth Rollins is the first member of the heel team to make his entrance to the ring. Rollins, who as noted is from Iowa, gets a huge pop from the Des Moines crowd. Out next is Randy Orton and Kane, both of whom come out to Orton’s music together.

The bell rings and here we go with tonight’s main event. Reigns and Orton start things off for their teams. Reigns immediately takes it to “The Viper.” As Reigns takes it to Orton, the fans in Iowa break out in a loud “we want Rollins” chant. Reigns dominates Orton to the point that he heads out of the ring to regroup. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial.

When we return from the break, the heels are still firmly in control of the action in the ring. It’s worth noting, by the way, that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who I mentioned were at ringside for this match, are not at the commentary table. Instead, they are simply seated near the ring and are not providing guest commentary for the match as I had originally thought.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Orton and Reigns are the legal men and Orton is taking it to the big man after the help of some double-team action from Rollins and Kane moments ago.

As the action continues, all hell breaks loose. Everyone, one-by-one, enters the ring and a big broo-ha-ha breaks out (I’m positive I didn’t spell that right, but you get the idea). When the smoke clears, Jericho and Rollins are the legal men and both men are down.

We see a shot of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at ringside. HHH stands up out of his chair and we see Jericho hit Rollins with the Codebreaker. On that note, which is odd timing, we head to another mid-match commercial, likely the final break of the evening.

We’re back from the break and the first thing we see is Orton slamming Jericho. He covers him for a pin attempt but Jericho kicks out at two. We see highlights from the break of Orton interupting Jericho’s pin attempt after he hit the aforementioned Codebreaker.

Rollins tags in and he picks up where Orton left off, taking it to Jericho in the middle of the ring. We see a shot of HHH and Stephanie watching on from ringside once again. Jericho finally cuts Rollins short. He crawls to make the tag and the crowd gets excited, but Rollins tags in Kane and Kane stops him from getting to his corner.

Kane continues to deliver punishment to Jericho as we see a shot of HHH and Stephanie watching from ringside. The fans break out in “Y2J” chants as Jericho starts chopping Kane to death, trying to fight his way back into the match. Kane cuts him short with a big boot and then tags Orton back into the match.

As the heels think they’ve got Jericho under control, literally out of nowhere, Jericho “matter-of-factly” tags Cena in out of the blue. Cena takes the hot tag, the crowd explodes and Cena is on fire, hitting anything that moves. Cena hoists up Kane for the Attitude Adjustment. He looks right at HHH and Steph and hits it. He tags in Reigns.

Reigns plays to the crowd and then hits the spear on Kane. He covers him. 1-2-3. Reigns scores the pin and the babyfaces pick up the victory. HHH and Steph are shown looking pissed at ringside.

Winners: John Cena, Roman Reigns & Chris Jericho

After The Match:

After the match, out on the floor, while HHH and Steph are flipping out, Rollins tries to attack Cena, however Cena ends up hitting an Attitude Adjustment on him on the announce table.
