Lockdown Opener:

The show begins with James Storm putting his bags in his truck, talking about how Bobby Roode has made their feud personal. He calls tonight the biggest match of his career. He welcomes Roode to his town — Nashville.

Backstage: Team Garrett

Backstage, Team Garrett is shown talking with each other. Garrett comes in and asks to go to the ring first tonight. Styles is worried that Bischoff has no experience. Garrett says he knows he’ll lose, and he knows he’s a rookie, but he wants to show he has as much heart as anyone else.

Lethal Lockdown: Team Eric vs. Team Garrett

Garrett Bischoff, as expected, is first out to the ring. Gunner is out first for Team Eric. Gunner and Bischoff stare each other down. Bischoff lands a few punches. Garrett hits a few. Both guys are fighting back and forth. Gunner gains control of the offense and is now laying a beatdown on Bischoff. The next entrant in the match comes to the ring, and it’s Bully Ray. Ray and Gunner double-team Garrett for a while. The crowd is chanting for Austin Aries. The next entrant makes his way to the ring, and whatta-ya-know, it is Austin Aries. Aries comes in swinging at Ray. Aries is a ball of fire early on. Ray eventually gets control of Aries. Kazarian comes out as the next man in the match. Ray and Kazarian double-team Aries while Gunner beats up on Garrett. Next out is A.J. Styles. Styles slams the cage door into Kaz’s face early. Styles takes out Gunner with the Pele kick. Styles is working over Ray in the corner. The next guy to come out is Daniels. Daniels heads right at Styles. He beats up on him along with some other members of his team for a bit. Next out is Mr. Anderson. Anderson is a ball of fire. After a lot of offense is traded back and forth, the final member of Team Eric comes out, and it’s none other than Eric Bischoff himself. Eric goes straight at Garrett. The heels are in complete control at this point. The final clock countdown happens and out for Team Garrett is Rob Van Dam. Lethal Lockdown officially begins. RVD is blasting everyone with kicks. Anderson calls for the mic to come down, and instead a bunch of weapons are lowered into the ring. Bischoff cowers in the corner of the ring while everyone uses a variety of weapons on each other. Aries and Styles finally spot Bischoff and go to work on him. A lot of guys hit their finishers on each other. Daniels picks Garrett up off the mat, but Garrett counters and goes for the pin. Eric has a kendo stick and breaks up the pin attempt. Eric hits Garrett over and over again with the kendo stick, breaking the stick in doing so. Eric begins gloating. Garrett returns to his feet and smashes a guitar over Eric’s head. Garrett pins him and gets the 1-2-3.

Winners: Team Garrett

Steel Cage For The TNA Tag-Team Titles: Samoa Joe & Magnus vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

Shelley and Magnus will be starting this one off. Magnus easily tosses Shelley into the corner. Shelley hits him with a low dropkick. Magnus hits a big clothesline. Sabin tags in and the Guns work stereo kicks on him. Magnus eventually makes the tag to Joe. The two go back and forth for a bit until Sabin tags Shelley back in after gaining the upper hand in the action. Joe makes the tag and Shelley hits Magnus with a couple of punches and a big chop in the corner. Magnus avoids a splash in the corner and fights off a double team by tossing Shelley into Sabin with a fall away slam. Joe tags in and he takes Sabin to the mat with a big back elbow. Sabin fights to his feet and tries to get the tag, but Magnus stops him again with a big spinebuster. Joe tags into the match and hits Sabin with a snap suplex that’s good for another quick two count. Joe takes Sabin into his own corner and Sabin is able to fight out with a boot to Magnus and tornado DDT to Joe combination. The Guns slam Joe into the cage. Joe eventually catches Sabin in a rear naked choke. Magnus has Shelley in the full nelson simaltaneously. Shelley gets out and hits Sliced Bread on Magnus. Joe lets go of his choke to break up a pin attempt. Joe and Magnus try their finishing combination, but Shelley avoids it. Magnus slams Shelley down hard and Joe hits him with a senton with Sabin on his back. Magnus and Joe hit their finishing combo and get the pin.

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Robbie E. & Rob Terry

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Robbie E. Robbie makes Rob Terry pat down Borash because he doesn’t trust him. Robbie says Devon isn’t on his list and he’s not on his level. He claims he’ll be leaving Nashville as a two-time TV Champion and then he and Terry are going to hit Broadway.

Steel Cage For The TNA TV Title: Devon vs. Robbie E.

Rob Terry refuses to leave the ring. Robbie charges but Devon moves and Robbie smashes into Terry. Terry leaves the cage and Robbie start going at Devon. He’s trying for a quick pin, but no dice. Devon starts fighting back but then he runs into a big boot in the corner. Robbie hits a big clothesline to follow up. Robbie heads to the top rope and hits a flying elbow. He locks in a rear chin lock on Devon. Devon fights his way out but Robbie takes him back down. Robbie heads to the top rope again but Devon crotches him on the top. Robbie eats a few big rights from Devon before getting blasted with a few shoulder blocks. Devon hits a big splash on him in the corner. Devon hits a spinebuster on Robbie and gets the pinfall in a quick match.

Winner and STILL TNA TV Champion: Devon

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Matt Morgan

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Matt Morgan. Morgan says he got into wrestling to make money and win titles, but tonight he’s going for revenge. He says tonight Crimson will answer for his sins. He claims tonight the cage is his prison cell and he’s going to make Crimson his red-headed bitch.

Steel Cage For The TNA Knockouts Title: Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky

Kim goes after Sky right away. Sky eventually counters into a suplex and rolls up a small package attempt. No dice. Gail chokes Velvet with her boot in the corner. Velvet blocks a turnbuckle smash in the corner and begins fighting back, hitting Gail with repeated rights and slamming Gail’s face into her knee. Gail goes to the top and hits a missile dropkick that lays Velvet out for a nearfall. Sky fights it off, but Gail comes running out of the corner with a big running clothesline that’s good for a near fall. Gail takes Velvet down to the mat with what’s almost a dragon sleeper. Sky fights back up and gets out of the hold with a jawbreaker. Kim slams Velvet’s head into the corner turnbuckle before slapping her. Kim charges into the corner, but Velvet moves and Kim crashes into the ring post and cage wall. Sky hits a series of clotheslines and back elbows before hitting Kim with a head scissors. Sky hits Kim with a basement dropkick before taking her across the ring with a bulldog. In the end, Sky goes for a pin but Kim gets her hand on the ropes. Madison distracts Velvet long enough for Gail to crawl to the cage door. Sky stops her with a roll up but Kim reverses and holds onto the tights during the pin to get the three count.

In-Ring Segment: Ric Flair & Hulk Hogan

Ric Flair’s music hits and out he comes. Flair asks the fans if they have any idea who just walked into the ring. He says that’s a serious question. He says he is the Nature Boy. He says his life gets greater and bigger every day. He asks if they know why. He says because he’s that damn good. He calls himself a special kind of cat and that right now he’s pissed off. He says Hulk Hogan won’t leave him alone and tonight he ended Eric Bischoff’s career. Flair says that’s not funny to him. Flair talks crap to a fan in the front row until Hogan’s music hits. Out comes Hogan. Flair tells Hogan he pissed him off. Hogan admits that Flair is the greatest wrestler of all-time and asks his permission to enter the ring. Flair tells Hogan to get in there because he wants to talk to him. Hogan tells Flair if he’s got a problem, he should deal with it right now. Flair says he’s had a problem with Hogan for 30 years. He says he doesn’t like how he runs TNA or how he treats people like Bischoff. Flair says he may work for Hogan right now, but one day he may just kick his ass. Hogan asks Flair if he knows where he’s at. He tells him he’s at Lethal Lockdown. He tells Bischoff will never be part of Impact again and he lost the right to use the name Bischoff, even if he’s at a flea market. Hogan says everyone knows if he and Flair hook up they’ll tear the roof off the building. He says if Flair has a problem he should do something about it right now. Flair takes his jacket off but Hogan pops him and drops him with one punch. Hogan leaves. Flair continues to flip out in the ring, on-and-off mic.

Steel Cage Match: Matt Morgan vs. Crimson

The match begins and Crimson is immediately trying to get out of the cage. Morgan yanks him down and hits him with a clothesline, then a shoulder block and a side slam. Crimson tries exiting through the door but Morgan stops him and smashes him into the cage. Morgan almost leaves the cage himself, but decides not to so he could beat up Crimson instead. Crimson regains control of Morgan and now Crimson is stomping away at Morgan before hitting him with a big running clothesline. Crimson goes for the pin but he’s only able to get a two. Crimson hits Morgan with a series of clubbing blows to the back. Crimson pulls Morgan to his feet, hitting more big clubbing shots, before sending Morgan head first into the turnbuckle, then choking him on the top rope. Later on, both guys are down. Both men get to their feet and Morgan hits a couple of punches, then a couple of clotheslines. Morgan takes Crimson over with a snap mare, then hits a boot to the face. Morgan plants Crimson face first on the corner turnbuckle before dropping him with a back suplex. Morgan charges in and squashes Crimson in the corner. Crimson goes out to the apron. Morgan charges and hits a big cross body, sandwiching Crimson into the cage wall. In the end, Morgan gets crotched on the ropes and then trapped between the middle and bottom ropes while Crimson heads over the top of the cage and out to the floor to win the match.

Winner: Crimson

Steel Cage Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle

Hardy and Angle pace around each other to start the match. Angle goes after Hardy and attacks him. He beats him into the corner. Angle lands a couple of quick kicks. Angle chokes Hardy with his boot in the corner, then taunts Hardy by imitating him. Hardy whips Angle into the corner and follows in with a clothesline, then a low dropkick. Hardy catches Angle in the corner with a series of right hands. Angle reverses an Irish whip and launches Hardy into the cage wall. Angle circles Hardy before flipping off the crowd.Later on, Hardy hits the twist of fate and Angle is down on the mat. Hardy heads into the corner and goes up, but Angle is up and he hits the Angle slam from the top rope, planting Hardy on the mat. Angle goes for the pin but Hardy is able to kick out at two. Angle hits Hardy with repeated rights. It’s a little more obvious that Angle’s leg is hurt now. Angle tries to escape, but Hardy pulls him down and drops him with a clothesline. Angle stops Hardy from climbing out of the cage. Both men are slow to get back up. Hardy tries to escape through the door, but Angle grabs him in the ankle lock. Hardy rolls through and locks Angle into an ankle lock of his own. Angle almost taps, but he rolls over and kicks Hardy off. Hardy hits the twist of fate once more. Hardy hits a big swanton out of the corner. Hardy heads up on the opposite side of the ring, going back to the top and hitting a second swanton, but it’s still not enough to keep Angle down for a pin. Angle is begging off now. Hardy slams Angle into the cage. Angle hits the Angle Slam for a nearfall. Angle goes for another one moments later, but Hardy reverses into an Angle Slam of his own onto Angle. Hardy takes his shirt off and heads to the top. Hardy climbs to the very top of the cage. Hardy comes off the top of the cage with a huge swanton. He pins Angle. Checkmate.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

TNA Knockouts Tag-Titles: ODB & Eric Young vs. Sarita & Rosita

ODB charges at both Sarita and Rosita to start things off. Rosita eventually jumps on her back while she’s pounding away at Sarita. Sarita and Rosita double-team ODB while Eric Young amuses himself on the sideline. Rosita uses her boot to choke ODB in the corner before kicking away at her. Sarita tags in to the match and stomps away at ODB, laying in with a big knee. Sarita takes a second to attempt to seduce EY before going right back to assaulting ODB. Rosita makes the tag and comes into the ring, kicking away at ODB with her partner. EY heads into the ring, and this allows Sarita and Rosita to double team ODB with an assisted splash. Sarita and Rosita take some time to talk to Young. ODB recovers, takes a shot, and goes to work. ODB slams Sarita. She hits Sarita with a spear. ODB shoulders Rosita and drops her to the mat. She gets the pin and the win.

Backstage: Jeremy Borash Interviews Bobby Roode

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Bobby Roode. Roode says tonight is the night that the world is waiting for. He says tonight is the night Storm has been waiting for. In his hometown, in front of his family and friends, a shot at the World Title. He claims tonight he’ll walk into the cage and prove to everyone what he says is true. He says he always has been and always will be better than him. He says the time for talking is over, tonight is a wrestling match. It’s a fight. He says he’s out for blood. He hates Storm and Storm hates him. He warns Storm to put his wife and kids to bed.

Steel Cage Match For The TNA World Heavyweight Title: Bobby Roode vs. James Storm

Storm comes out first driving a vintage pickup truck into the arena. He grabs a beer out of a 12-pack and sprays it into the crowd on his way to the ring. He gets a huge pop from the crowd. Champion Bobby Roode is out next. Storm attacks Roode from behind and slams him back-first into the cage wall. He also slams him into the barricade and face-first into the ringside steps. Storm spits beer in Roode’s face. Storm slams him into the announcer’s table next. Storm is really going to work on Roode here early. Roode tries leaving the arena, trying to exit through the entrance way but he’s stopped. Roode eventually comes back and slams Storm’s face into the cage. Roode grabs a beer bottle and busts Storm open. Roode is now in control of the offense. Now the bell rings and the match is finally officially underway. Jeez! Roode still in control now as the match gets going inside the ring. Roode scrapes Storm’s face against the cage, opening up Storm’s cut even more. Roode kicks away at Storm before telling him that he’s nothing and that Roode hates Storm’s guts. Roode says he never needed Storm. He says he never wanted Storm, all while stomping him. Roode says that Storm was nothing without him. Storm continues to taunt him while slapping him. Storm throws Roode in the corner and flurries on him with punches. Storm is a ball of fiery offense now. Storm scrapes Roode’s face against the cage before bringing him back inside the ring. Roode slams Storm into the cage. Roode is crawling towards the door now. Storm stops him by grabbing onto his foot. Roode goes right into the Crossface, right in the middle of the squared circle. Storm won’t tap. He gets to the ropes to break the hold. Roode tries leaving the cage a little bit later, but Storm stops him. They fight at the top of the cage. Both guys are ramming each other’s face into the cage while still up there. Storm eventually sends Roode crashing down to the canvas. Storm climbs to the very top of the cage. He decides to hit a move on Roode instead of leaving. Storm ends up hitting Roode with a codebreaker off the top. He calls for the Last Call superkick. Storm waits on Roode to stand up, but as he does, Roode pulls the ref into the way and Storm hits Brian Hebner with the kick. Roode asks for the cage door to be opened. Storm waits on the apron and asks Earl Hebner to hand him a beer. Roode uses the bottle to smash it across Storm’s head. Roode calls Earl in to make the three count as he attempts to pin Storm. He gets a pin, but Storm manages to kick out at two. Storm blasts Roode with a superkick out of nowhere. Both men are down. Roode heads to the apron right in front of the cage door. Storm hits Roode with another superkick but it sends Roode crashing through the cage door and hitting the floor. Because he was out of the cage first, Roode retains.
