— According to several sources, Chris Jericho will not be punished by WWE officials over his scuffle with fans this past Saturday. Officials feel he was put in a situation in which he was forced to defend himself, so he’s clear of any wrongdoing.

— MMA fighter Kevin Randleman issued a challenge to Raw Superstar Kofi Kingston. Randleman doesn’t want to fight or wrestle Kingston, but rather, take the WWE Superstar on in a “corner jumping contest.” Randleman issued the challenge during an interview with Absolute Wrestling Radio this past week. — WWE has named Michelle D. Wilson as their new Executive Vice President of Marketing. “Michelle brings a unique combination of sports, entertainment and brand marketing experience to WWE,” said Linda McMahon. “She will be a key player in furthering the WWE brand and bringing great value to our network, advertising and promotional partners.” Wilson is the former Chief Marketing Officer for the United States Tennis Association, and has held sports marketing holding positions with the NBA and USTA.
