— As we reported earlier this morning, WWE.com has posted a message stating that Jeff Hardy was found unconscious in a stairwell at WWE’s hotel in Boston last night and was rushed to a local emergency room. I have already received a lot of emails asking for updates on Hardy’s health status. After checking with several sources currently in Boston, right now it appears the incident is a work and an attempt to generate more buzz about tonight’s PPV. Hardy has a well-documented history of suspensions due to substance abuse, it appears the company is once again looking to blur the lines between storyline and reality. The wording of WWE.com’s statement and the manner in which they are presenting the “breaking news” (posting it as their top story at 3AM) are also questionable.

— The “Rated R Superstar” Edge has arrived in Boston, the site of tonight’s Survivor Series. He flew into Boston last night and is expected to return to WWE television this week, possibly at tonight’s PPV. He was greeted by WWE fans at the airport and was seen with a shaggy beard.
