Current Impact World and Grand Champion Austin Aries is certainly not holding back from speaking out about his current success outside of WWE and his improved lifestyle. As we noted earlier today, Aries fired back at a fan on Twitter who claimed to be the Champion of Impact is worse than being the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and Aries countered by claiming his paychecks beg to disagree.

Aries has since headed back to Twitter, and this time he noted he would love a rematch with his WrestleMania 33 opponent, Neville.

Both Aries and Neville were reportedly unhappy with their bout being placed on the WrestleMania 33 pre-show, and also being left off the official WrestleMania 33 DVD, and that frustration is, in part, why Neville walked out on WWE and has not appeared on TV since the fall of 2017.

As seen below, Aries expressed interest in facing his old WWE foe, but noted he wants the match with the “shackles off” and when Neville is done “serving his time”. The “serving time” reference is likely a shot at WWE not releasing Neville from his contract, and instead making him sit on the sidelines and wait out the expiration of his deal.

And life was never the same…

Dejected, almost amused at my repeated failure, who’d have known this moment here would be the catalyst for so much future success.

And to my victorious opponent…I’d love to do it again, shackles off, whenever you’re done serving your time… https://t.co/mbxmwY1wUV
