Elite Exodus Seen As “End Of An Era” For Ring Of Honor

PWInsider is reporting that last Saturday’s Ring Of Honor taping was an emotional experience backstage at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena. The taping marked the last night for many members of The Elite, as well as Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky. According to Mike Johnson, many backstage were tearing up. Johnson also reported that it was described as an “end of an era” by many wrestlers.

While The Elite (Cody Rhodes, Matt & Nick Jackson, Adam Page) have completed all of their commitments, Johnson said that there was an expectation that Christopher Daniels might work some tapings in January. ROH has tapings scheduled for 1/12 in Atlanta’s Center Stage, and then 1/13 at the Carrabus Arena in Concord, NC.
