Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground star John Hennigan will be starring in the upcoming movie “Strange Nature”, premiering in Los Angeles theaters Saturday September 22.
Hennigan, also known for his roles in “Boone the Bounty Hunter” and “Minutes to Midnight”, plays Sam, a rogue who wants to squish the mutated from his town, in writer-director Jim Ojala’s science-encompassing horror film. Hennigan stars alongside Stephen Tobolowsky and Lisa Sheridan in the upcoming film, and below is the movie synopsis along with the official trailer and select movie stills.
A full-length feature film based on a true unsolved ecological mystery where thousands of hideously deformed frogs turned up in the waters of Minnesota. The film is an “Ecological Thriller” as seen through the eyes of a single-mother and her 11-year old son, who reluctantly return to her small home town to be with her dying father and find themselves fighting for their own lives.
