On Triple H’s injury:
“I have never torn anything, with his quad you could see he couldn’t stand. With this, I didn’t know and my biggest concern is will him continuing this make this worse? He’s not going to tell you, it’s really trying to figure out do I get a chair and just start swinging and forget about this and get him out of here but he was adamant. For the most part, he wasn’t feeling much pain until after.”
His moonsault at WWE Crown Jewel:
“Because of the moonsault I felt my spine pop all the way down, you don’t notice anything until you get done but my neck is stiff and my hands have swollen up and then you fly for 20 hours to get home, I had to take off my watch and my wrist and everything and I was the healthy one so I have no idea what agony he (Triple H) was in.”

“Negative. The one upside is you are just curious about if you can do your stuff and yeah I could do that and have a young guy work around me but the one reason I said yes to this one was that I was asked by specific people and it was like someone was asking The Stones and The Kiss. People talk about the money but I would have made more doing a singles match at WrestleMania. Everything about working with a younger guy at WrestleMania puts me in a much different position and I have not wanted to be put in that position because I am good with the performances I have had at WrestleMania, this just happened to be a situation I never thought would pop up.”
