Very little is known about the future in-ring commitments of The Undertaker, but if anyone has the answers it is Triple H and he has shed some light on the subject in a recent interview.
WWE’s COO was a guest on the new Sky Sport’s wrestling podcast, Lock Up where he was asked about The Undertaker’s WWE schedule moving forwards.
“I think there’s one person who has the rights to call the shots and that’s the Undertaker. I think it will all depend on him and I think it should all depend on him. At this point, it should be what he wants to and feels comfortable doing.”
Fans last saw the Deadman at the Greatest Royal Rumble where he defeated Rusev in a casket match, which marked his second appearance in April after facing John Cena at WrestleMania 34 earlier in the year.
Whilst Triple H was fairly vague with his answers, neither confirming or denying that he would return, the Game does believe that we haven’t seen the last of Undertaker in a WWE ring.
“I know that he, as a performer, always wants to be able to give his best and, if he can’t then he doesn’t want to do it. When he’s in a position where he is right now, I think he feels great and wants to be able to be out there and show the Undertaker to the world, but it really comes down to himself, as it should.”
