IN RING SEGMENT
The Beast is here! WWE Universal Champion opens the show and he comes to the ring with his advocate, Paul Heyman. Paul says that they are 7 days removed from what was a savage beating that Brock Lesnar put on Roman Reigns. Heyman calls attention to the tron to replay the footage from last week and Brock is all smiles as they show it. Paul Heyman informs us that the temporary suspension of Roman Reigns has been lifted. He says we’ve all seen this happen, and Roman Reigns is going to come out ready for a fight. But he gives us breaking news and says that Roman Reigns is not there this evening. However, he says that the credit does not go to Brock Lesnar. Instead, he says that Roman isn’t here two weeks before WrestleMania even though he is advertised and says that he is here each and every week. He says that if Brock received the beating that Roman did last week, Brock would be there the very next week to deliver a beatdown, but Roman isn’t man enough to take another beating from Brock Lesnar.
The crowd starts to cheer and Paul Heyman stops talking in his tracks as he looks into the crowd and Roman Reigns gingerly makes his way to the ring. Brock is all smiles until Roman picks up a chair. Brock charges at Roman and cleans his clock. Brock picks up Roman, but Brock gets shoved into the ring post. Roman picks the chair again and he starts swinging multiple times into the back of the champion. Roman sets up as Brock is writhing in agony and he goes for a Superman punch, but he is caught by Brock who hits an overhead belly to belly to Roman Reigns to the outside. Brock isn’t done yet, as he picks up the steel steps and knocks Roman Reigns out with them.
Brock isn’t done yet, and he throws the steps into the ring along with his opponent in two weeks. Roman makes his way to his feet, just to get hit by the steel steps again. Brock decides to pick up the chair and annihilate Roman Reigns until Roman can no longer stand. Brock starts to make his way to the back, but much like last week, he changes his mind and comes back in and delivers an F5 onto Roman Reigns onto the steel steps to end the segment.
After the commercial break, Roman Reigns is seen walking out on his own accord.
