Whilst the current OGC Nice manager looks set to replace Mauricio Pochettino on the sidelines at the Parc des Princes, the French manager is already planning for a transfer window with PSG and is interested in bringing Khéphren Thuram (21) with him, according to Saber Desfarges.

Although Galtier’s appointment at PSG is not yet confirmed, president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has confirmed talks with the former Saint-Étienne and Lille manager, and according to many outlets, an agreement for his arrival is close.

Galtier is therefore already planning the upcoming transfer window with the Parisian club, according to Desfarges. He is working with his staff to draw up a shortlist and on it is Nice midfielder Thuram.

The France U21 midfielder had a breakthrough season under Galtier, especially in the second half of the season as he accumulated 36 Ligue 1 appearances, scored four goals and made two assists.

Sacha Tavolieri added that Thuram was in fact plan B for PSG regardless of Galtier’s arrival, should Aurélien Tchouaméni not arrive in the French capital.
