According to Foot Mercato l’Olympique de Marseille are not yet giving up on Eintracht Frankfurt central defender Evan Ndicka – but – the Olympians are awaiting a green light from the DNCG so the club can recover cash and move forward with the transfer. Meanwhile, Pablo Longoria and his teams have been warned that Tottenham are now in pole position for the deal.
For several weeks now, Olympique de Marseille have been mentioned as a candidate for the arrival of Evan Ndicka. But recently, the rumours about him had subsided after Tottenham and Manchester United were reportedly interested in the former France U21 international.
Part of this season’s Europa League winning Frankfurt side, Ndicka moved to Germany from Auxerre in 2018, and has built up 32 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, featuring in the ‘Team of the Week’ 4 times and registering 4 goals.
