L’Équipe report this evening that Leandro Paredes’ contract has been automatically extended until the end of the 2023/24 season, despite the club initially announced his deal ran until 2023.
When the Argentine arrived in 2019 from Zenit Saint Petersburg for a fee of €47m, Les Parisiens had announced that he had signed a three and a half-year contract.

Now, Paredes is one of the players who PSG will not hold back from leaving this summer, in a list drawn up by the management which includes the likes of Julian Draxler and Layvin Kurzawa as well.
Although the Argentina international is not particularly set on leaving, even after Ángel Di María’s departure on a free, he is not short on potential suitors. Inter Milan had showed interest in January, as well as Juventus who are still keeping an eye.
Manchester United have recently enquired, while Monaco have also taken an interest. PSG have no interest in selling the 27-year-old at a cut-price deal, though. In his three and a half years in the French capital so far, he has made 113 appearances and scored three goals.
