After a five-year spell, Nabil Dirar has left Monaco – signing for Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The deal is worth €4.5m including bonuses. Dirar had previously indicated that he was seeking a move to the Premier League, but it appears that the financial lure of Turkey changed his mind.
Dirar has been at the club throughout the tough times in the second division and enjoyed game time in the Champions League knockout stages this season.
He made 18 Ligue 1 appearances for the eventual champions in the recent campaign and certainly goes out on a high.
