Several Premier League sides, notably Newcastle United, have enquired for Valencia central defender Aymen Abdennour, according to Foot Mercato.
Everton have also placed Abdennour on their list of potential centre-backs, but are pursuing Burnley’s Michael Keane.
Abdennour is on Marseille’s shortlist in terms of possible central defensive reinforcements, and the player’s representatives have held several meetings with OM’s Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta.
Valencia are looking for €15m in order to part with the player.
