Sunday: Lorient vs Monaco (13:00 GMT)

Lorient will be aiming for their first win in four league games as they take on Monaco at the Stade du Moustoir. The hosts have only won one of their last seven outings in the league, but remain comfortably in mid-table. They have fallen out of the top half due to yesterday’s results, but can move as high as sixth with a win here.

Monaco, meanwhile, have been quietly climbing the table over the last few months and have the opportunity to go second in the table if they pick up all three points. Leonardo Jardim’ side have lost just one of their last 14 league games, an unbeaten run that stretches back to November, and will be looking to make the runners-up spot their own.

Earlier this season, Lorient beat Monaco 3-2 at the Stade Louis II, with Benjamin Moukandjo scoring the winner.

Sunday: Caen vs Marseille (16:00 GMT)

Caen will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they face Marseille at the Stade Michel d’Ornano on Sunday afternoon. The hosts have lost their way over the last few weeks, failing to win any of their last five league games. They have subsequently fallen from second down to sixth in the standings, but can move level on points with the top four if they win here.

Marseille, meanwhile, head into this match on the back of four consecutive league draws. The visitors have shared the spoils with Montpellier, Gazelec Ajaccio, Bordeaux and, most recently, Guingamp, a run of results that has halted their rise up the table. If Marseille are to finish the season in a European qualification spot, then their form needs to be better than this.

Earlier this season, Caen beat Marseille 1-0 at the Stade Velodrome thanks to Andy Delort’s strike.

Sunday: St Etienne vs Lyon (20:00 GMT)

St Etienne take on rivals Lyon at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Sunday evening with both teams aiming for a European qualification spot. The hosts have been inconsistent for most of the season and currently sit eighth in the table, four points off the top four. They were beaten 2-1 away at Nantes in their last league outing.

Lyon have also struggled for form this campaign and are level on points with their rivals, albeit above them on goal difference. They managed to end a dreadful run of results, which has seen them lose five of their last seven league games, by beating Troyes 4-1 last weekend and manager Bruno Genesio will be hoping his side can build on that with a derby victory.

Earlier this season, Lyon beat St Etienne 3-0 at the Stade de Gerland thanks to an Alexandre Lacazette hat trick.
