As promised, all four members of the iconic Evolution faction reunited this Tuesday night at Smackdown 1000, marking the first time the super-group has ever appeared together on the blue brand.
It was certainly epic watching all four legends style-and-profile down the entrance ramp to Motorhead’s iconic theme, and each superstar got a chance to speak what was on their mind. While Ric Flair seemed exceedingly happy to just be there with his old buddies, and Randy Orton couldn’t finish a sentence without trashing everyone around him, things got a bit more intense when “The Animal” took the mic.

While Evolution as a whole received a tremendous reaction, the Washington D.C. was most excited to see their hometown movie star Batista back in WWE. Big Dave warned the crowd that he was nervous, but eventually found his groove and talked passionately about his love for the business and for the fans, whether they love him, or whether they chant “Blue-tista” at him.
However, when praising the accolades of all the great men who surrounded him, Batista reminded everyone that Triple H has beaten everyone in the business… except him. Things quickly got serious as “The Game” squared up to his long-time friend and rival, bringing a red hot crowd to their feet in anticipation.
While Flair was able to calm the situation and stop a fight this time around, WWE may be planting seeds – even if those seeds don’t grow to fruition for a very long time – for a program between the two. Batista has made it publicly known that he would love one last run in wrestling, and that when it comes time for him to retire, his goal is to go out at WrestleMania working a program with Triple H.
