As we noted earlier this evening, via PWInsider.com, despite WWE not announcing The Undertaker vs John Cena for WrestleMania 34, Undertaker is scheduled to be at the PPV in New Orleans on Sunday night.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Undertaker vs John Cena has been the planned WrestleMania 34 match for months, and Undertaker has been training for Sunday night, so at the very least some type of confrontation is expected. Even if a match does not take place between Cena and The Dead Man, the belief is that WWE fans know Undertaker is going to show up in New Orleans, so the story has been set up to bring him back at WrestleMania to “kick Cena’s ass”.
As for why WWE has not officially announced the match between the two WWE icons, a source quoted the following to The Observer:

“[WWE is] also of the belief announcing Taker in advance won’t compel anyone to purchase the network, as anyone inclined is getting the network for the show anyway. This is Vince McMahon’s story and he seems very happy with it. I think part of it is that Vince McMahon can say, ‘people are invested in the mere chance Undertaker will show up!”‘
