As seen on WWE Raw tonight, Michael Cole provided an update on Dean Ambrose, who underwent surgery this week to repair a torn triceps tendon.

Cole noted that Ambrose could be out of action for up to 9 months, meaning it’s likely The Shield member will miss WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. It’s worth nothing WWE often times exaggerates return timetables in order to surprise fans with Superstar returns, but nine months seems almost certain Ambrose will not be ready to go in time for WrestleMania which takes place on April 8th.

Note on CM Punk Chants at Raw

With WWE Raw taking place in Chicago tonight, the usual CM Punk chants were expected, and Mike Killam noted on Twitter they are very loud tonight in the Allstate Arena:
