Mauricio Pochettino will not be supporting Arsenal against Manchester City on Sunday.

Third hosts fifth in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium as City look to keep up the title pace against Champions League-chasing Arsenal.

Tottenham jumped ahead of City with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle on Saturday thanks to early winner Son Heung-min.

Spurs are now second, one point ahead of City, and four behind Liverpool.

Arsenal dropped to fifth after Chelsea hammered Huddersfield, and are now ten points behind Spurs.

But Pochettino will not be supporting their north London rivals, despite the boost an Arsenal win would give to Tottenham’s title aspirations.

“No. Why? Never,” he replied when asked if he would be cheering them on.

He added: “I will watch the game at home and I won’t be on one side or another. I am going to accept the result, whatever it is.”
