Chelsea’s board are unhappy with manager Maurizio Sarri for two reasons, according to a report.

The Blues lost 4-0 to Bournemouth on Wednesday in their biggest defeat of the Roman Abramovich era at Stamford Bridge.

His post-match dressing room inquest lasted almost an hour as he picked apart their display with the result seeing them slide into fifth position in the Premier League.

The Telegraph reported that during the dressing room lock-in, Sarri questioned himself and pointed fingers at certain players, including Eden Hazard for ‘failing to follow instructions’.

And in his post-match press conference, he admitted confusion over why his side continue to have “mental black-outs”.

“We are struggling, above all mentally. We had assumed that we learned a certain style of football, but the truth is we never did learn it and are paying the consequences,” he told Sky Sports.

“Every now and then this team reacts in a way I cannot decipher, so that creates some uncertainty.

“Perhaps some of the steps were inevitable, but we need to understand why we have these mental black-outs and what we can do to stop them.”

And a The Times have now claimed that there are two reasons the club’s hierarchy are currently unhappy with Sarri, including his propensity to publicly criticise players.

The other reason surrounds his apparent reluctance to play youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been flirting with a possible move to Bayern Munich.

Hudson-Odoi has been the subject of a reported £35million bid from the German champions but the Blues have no plans to sell him.

The winger is unhappy with his lack of playing time at the club and the board want to see him play more.
