If you’re one of the millions of fashion lovers who spends the day adding to your shopping cart on the digital luxury consignment store The RealReal, we’ve got amazing news for you. The RealReal experience is moving from the Internet servers to the streets, and it’s happening in style.
On Thursday night, InStyle‘s Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown and The RealReal celebrated the launch of the first-ever retail space for the e-commerce site in N.Y.C., and it was a stylish evening to remember. Brown’s own high/low curated collection was featured on full display in the SoHo store as guests got a first glance at the latest and greatest in fashion.

The RealReal’s shop is its first permanent store in its six-year company history, so they are understandably psyched about it.
“The store for us is a great branding opportunity,” said The RealReal founder Julie Wainwright to Business of Fashion. “But we don’t need it to fuel our growth.”

In case the beautiful displays weren’t enough, The RealReal’s celebration also included a more charitable component. Proceeds from the event sales benefited Jessica Seinfeld’s charity the Good+ Foundation, and that’s something we can get behind.

It just goes to show that when fashion and philanthropy meet head-to-head, only good things can happen. You can see The RealReal’s new store for yourself at 80 Wooster Street in New York City.
