A woman murdered her husband by smashing his head with a grinder stone at Sivanthipatti on the outskirts of Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu on Sunday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Arumugan, 47, who was a construction worker. His wife, Muthulakshmi, 37, was also a construction worker, police said. They said Arumugan was a habitual drinker and he used to quarrel with his wife.
