The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder has been passing on some of his knowledge, with ability clearly running in the family

David Beckham has been passing on some of the knowledge he picked up at Manchester United and Real Madrid to daughter Harper.

The former England international, who also represented AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and the LA Galaxy during an illustrious playing career, has seemingly taken on a new role as a coach.

The football gene clearly runs in his family as well, as Harper looks to be the next potential superstar to roll off the Beckham production line.

Beckham’s sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, have all shown an interest in the game, but none appear set to follow in the footsteps of their father and join the professional ranks.

Six-year-old Harper could, however, be about to start down that path.

She is only just starting out, with Beckham revealing that his Instagram posts captured her “first lesson”, but there is clearly some ability there.

Harper’s mother, Victoria Beckham, has previously revealed that her daughter has expressed more of an interest in following her dad into sport than her mum into fashion.

She admitted back in 2015: “She’s a tomboy, she has three brothers.

“She said to me the other day: ‘Mummy I think I want to play football.’ It was a dagger through the heart.

“I have three boys who want to play football, come on, let one of them want to be in fashion.”
