Editor’s Note: The following includes spoilers for WrestleMania.

The coronavirus epidemic not only forced WWE to move WrestleMania 36 to their Orlando, Florida, based Performance Center but also wreaked havoc on their efforts to do the show they initially wanted this week.

News began to spill out earlier this week that both Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke were off the plans for the show due to self quarantining and Thursday night, word broke that Roman Reigns decided to not go through with his match against WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg despite being in the building.

On Friday, The Miz was confirmed as being pulled off the show due to illness which nullified the planned SmackDown tag team title defense. However, our Dave Meltzer is reporting that Miz’s partner John Morrison will face one of the Usos in a ladder match instead.

Meltzer didn’t know whether there was any stipulation associated with the match nor which Usos brother competed against Morrison which could come as early as tonight’s edition of SmackDown.

Other news:

Despite reports otherwise, Asuka and Cesaro both worked WrestleMania with no health issues.
Edge vs. Randy Orton was successfully taped this week.
Meltzer confirmed PWInsider’s report earlier Friday that Buddy Murphy was indeed sick and didn’t come to the TV tapings this week. Meltzer added that no one sick was allowed around, even if they had a cough or a stuffy nose.
