Updating our original reports on WWE looking to sign new talent to NXT/Performance Center…
– Cedric Alexander has signed with WWE and will start in September.
Alexander had a star-making match against Kota Ibushi in the Cruiserweight tournament that prompted chants of “Please Sign Cedric” from the Full Sail crowd. That is now official.
– Tommy End is also expected to start with WWE in September. As we exclusively reported in June, End was targeted for a September start date after finishing up summer independent bookings.
Both Alexander and End finished up their commitments to EVOLVE last weekend at the E66 and E67 shows.
– As we reported in July, Zack Sabre, Jr. was on WWE’s radar to be signed from the Cruiserweight tournament. However, the two sides have not agreed to a deal after some negotiations.
One roadblock for Sabre is that some WWE agents are not high on Sabre’s in-ring style. Fit Finlay has publicly said that he is not a fan of Sabre and William Regal also shares some of that sentiment.

– Big Damo O’Connor is on-track to start with WWE in September.
Damo’s arrival was teased in the “Sanity” vignette that premiered at the “NXT Takeover” special on Saturday.
Few parts of that video are awfully familiar https://t.co/aLa5gpXp2M
