Finally, we get day of reprise from the Conor McGregor madness. But with UFC 200 tickets on sale tomorrow with no main event, it could be a lackluster day for sales given the current card. UFC itself still has the show listed as TBD vs TBD, although Ticketmaster itself is listing the main event as Aldo vs Edgar 2.
Unless something drastic happens in the next 18 hours, the UFC 200 card is as follows:
Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar for the Interim Featherweight championship
Miesah Tate vs. Amanda Nunes for the Women’s Bantamweight championship
Cain Velasquez vs. Travis Browne
Johny Hendricks vs. Kelvin Gastelum
Gegard Mousasi vs. Derek Brunson
Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Lauzon
Sage Northcutt vs. Enrique Marin
Jim Miller vs. Takanori Gomi
Cat Zingano vs. Julianna Pena

TUESDAY NEWS UPDATE
Past action star Wesley Snipes (Blade, White Men Can’t Jump) and his production company has signed a multi-picture deal with WWE Studios. The first release is Temple (also featuring Seth Rollins) while the second release will occur this year.
The UFC 197 prelims Saturday night on FS 1 did just 835,000 viewers. It’s the first time the PPV prelims have been under a million since UFC 192 last October. That’s generally a pretty good barometer of interest in the show and doesn’t bode well for the PPV buyrate.
Bellator 153, which featured the debut of Benson Henderson, did just 618,000 viewers, well below their average. It was slightly up from last week’s show but that was also was a taped show that aired mostly out of primetime. Henderson had been a TV draw in UFC, but that didn’t carry over in his first fight in his new home.
Paige VanZant and partner danced a jazz routine last night to the opening theme to “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.” PVZ and Team “Pow! Right in the Kisser” survived to week 6. Next week, two couples will be eliminated so PVZ needs to keep her game up to survive.
