It looks like Cody Rhodes did not leave the Steel Cage Match at AEW Dynamite this past week unscathed.
The American Nightmare took to his official Instagram page where he made a post revealing that he suffered an injury during his Steel Cage Match against Wardlow at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia this past Wednesday night.
Cody fractured his big toe on his right foot as a result of the crazy moonsault off of the top of the Steel Cage that won him the match against Wardlow, finalizing his highly-anticipated showdown against MJF at the upcoming AEW Revolution 2020 pay-per-view.
“‘Long way down…’ – small fracture in my big toe,” wrote Cody along with a photo he circled from the Steel Cage Match this past Wednesday night. “But I’m on a treatment plan [and] CLEARED for action,” his statement continued.
