— With Chris Jericho’s surprise appearance at the All In PPV last weekend, many wondered if he let WWE know beforehand that he would be participating or whether he did it on his own without letting them in on it at all. According to Mike Johnson of pwinsider.com, WWE likely had no idea about Jericho appearing because as soon as Jericho popped up at All In, several shocked WWE officials immediately began to contact him asking for confirmation on whether Jericho truly was at the show.
— While WWE is likely not pleased by his involvement with All In, the bottom line is that Jericho is not under contract and can do (and does) pretty much whatever he wants – whether that be working for NJPW, All In or even re-appearing on WWE TV as he did earlier in the year for the 25th Anniversary show. Jericho himself has also gone on record lately to suggest that he’s open to working for any company anywhere as long as it’s meaningful which has gotten some people wondering if the WWE/Jericho relationship isn’t as rosy as it once was.
