– WWE NXT returns to Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida tonight for another round of tapings. WWE Champion CM Punk and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross will be in attendence for the show. JR mentioned on Twitter that he would love to do commentary with Punk for some of tonight’s matches.
CM Punk tweeted the following about tonight’s tapings, teasing some sort of interaction with NXT Champion Seth Rollins:
“Who’s going to @wwenxt tonight @FullSail ?? I’ll be there. So will @wwerollins hmmmmm”
Rollins, formerly Tyler Black in Ring of Honor, tweeted the following on Wednesday night:
“Tomorrow night @WWENXT descends upon @fullsail once again. @CMPunk will be in the house. So will I. Imagine that…”
Rollins was asked this week what it feels like to be the first-ever champion of NXT. He replied:
“Easily the greatest moment of my career. “Surreal” doesn’t do it justice.”
